Grade JSL AUS (J1)
Jindal's economy Cr-Mn austenitic grade for everyday utility applications.
Material Overview
Cr-Mn Austenitic (Jindal proprietary)
JSL AUS (also known as J1) is Jindal Stainless's proprietary low-nickel austenitic grade engineered as a cost-effective alternative for utility applications where extreme corrosion resistance is not the primary requirement. Its higher manganese content compensates for reduced nickel while preserving austenitic ductility and formability.
